New Swedish car factory converts Fiat to electric drive

In connection with the opening of Alelion Batteries AB's new battery factory in Nödinge, Sweden, a new Swedish electric vehicle was presented.

EV Adapt has developed the electric car which is equipped with the new generation of Li-Ion batteries. The company is managed by HÄkan Sandberg and Peter Wahlsten, the owners behind Autoadapt AB and Alelion Batteries AB, and Ben van de Geer.

"We are very happy with our agreement with Fiat. The cars are delivered to us after which we convert the cars. Our long experience as Europes leading supplier of car adaptation solutions for the disabled has earned us respect in the automotive industry and the know-how to convert different car models", Autoadapt CEO HÄkan Sandberg explains.

A finished prototype already exist. The Governor of VÀstra Götaland, on the west coast of Sweden, Lars BÀckström drove the first converted electric car to the ribbon cutting ceremony at the inauguration of Alelion Batteries new factory.
