Fiat 500 transformed by Autoadapt into EV Electric Car

Autoadapt has signed an agreement with Italian Fiat Group Automobiles to buy the car model Fiat 500. Fiat will provide a standard production car and Autoadapt will perform on its own initiative and under its sole responsibility the transformation into Electric car, taking also care of the relevant assistance of the transformed vehicles.
The cars will be converted by Autoadapt’s part-owned company EV Adapt AB. The first order has been placed and the first shipment of cars is planned to arrive at EV Adapt’s new factory in Nödinge, outside Göteborg in Sweden, in the beginning of September. The first converted cars are expected to be delivered by EV Adapt at the beginning of March 2010.
The Autoadapt 500EV will be available in a model providing a travel distance of 120 kilometers.
